Easter reminds us of the foundation of our faith.  Without Jesus’ return from the dead, we would have no hope of forgiveness or eternal life.  Everything we believe as Christians is built on the resurrection.  Take time to read and meditate on the following verses about life, love, and forgiveness.  Our God truly deserves praise and glory!  Let’s give it to Him this Easter.

  • “He is not here. For he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples.”  Matthew 28:6-7 CSB
  • 35 For the one who finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord. Proverbs 8:35
  • 16 Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day. 17 For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. 18 So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
  • Corinthians 4:16-18
  • 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18
  • 10 Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

1 John 4:10

  • 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 The one who has the Son has life. The one who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

1 John 5:11-13

  • 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of eternal life to which you were called. 1 Timothy 6:12

His,

Pastor Martin
